(3/25/26) Greetings ELAP users! As this tends to be a busy time of year, we want to send out some reminders and updates to keep everyone on track.

Upcoming Office Hours on March 25th

Today, March 25th, is our last SWORPS Office Hours for the month. If you have the time, please join in! We will be reviewing best practices for student survey data collection and how to use the feedback from that data. We will be meeting at 4 PM CT/5 PM ET via TEAMS. You can locate the meeting information on our Important Dates page.

Don’t Forget – Upcoming Data Quality Check (DQC) on March 31st!

March 31st is our next DQC! The information listed below should be entered into the ELAP database and all participation data should be up-to-date and accurate. You can also locate this information on our Important Dates page and in our online Resource Center

Updated Resources!

SWORPS has recently updated the Important Dates Guide to reflect a change in the requirements for the March 31st DQC. It has also been updated in our online calendar on the Important Dates page. 

Fresh Survey Data Served Up on Mondays

Check in every Monday for new survey numbers. Just email the Help Desk for those numbers. 

You can also check on survey data with the new reports made available via the ELAP datase*:

Sharing FERPA Data

As a reminder, when sending FERPA data, you need to encrypt your email OR password protect any documents you send. If your grantee only uses Gmail based accounts, you can only send FERPA data using password protected documents. Please reach out to your grantee’s IT support for information on how to encrypt emails and documents.

Spring Holidays are Right Around the Corner!

UTK will be closed on April 3rd, 2026 for a spring holiday. As SWORPS follows the UTK calendar, our office will also be closed. If you have questions or need guidance, our Resource Center and FAQ page are accessible 24/7.
